AKULTURASI BUDAYA PADA PERTUNJUKAN KESENIAN KOROMONG

Penelitian ini berfokus pada kesenian Koromong dalam perubahan-perubahan yang disebabkan oleh adanya akulturasi budaya antara kepercayaan lokal dengan agama Islam sehingga dapat berdampingan. Akibat adanya akulturasi membuat beberapa aspek mengalami pembauran kedua unsur tersebut serta munculkan struktur baru dalam pertunjukan kesenian Koromong. Pandangan mengenai pemaknaan memberikan dua sudut yang berbeda sesuai dengan kepercayaan nya masing-masing. Penulisan ini hasil penelitian yang di deskripsikan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif. Teknik lapangan yang dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan mendokumentasikan. Landasan teori dalam penelitian menggunakan teori akulturasi budaya dimana hasil dari penelitian lapangan dapat dipecahkan melalui teori ini.
Kata Kunci: Akulturasi, Kesenian, Koromong, Kepercayaan dan Islam.
ABSTRACT
This research study focuses on the art of Koromong in the changes that caused by the cultural acculturation between local beliefs and Islamic teachings in order to make them live coexisted. As a result of the acculturation, several aspects have experienced mixing of these two elements and have emerged into a new form which could be deflected in Koromong art peerformances. The meaning of this art performance could be seen in two different angles according to their respective beliefs.This study is the result of research that described by using qualitative methods. Field techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documenting. The theoretical foundation of research uses cultural acculturation theory where the results of field research can be solved through this theory.
