The creation of a dance with the title Indoeng is an empirical actualization of the author, when he lost his beloved mother because she died, Indoeng comes from the Sundanese language which means mother. The concept of working on this is embodied in the form of contemporary dance with a single performance performed by a female dancer. This dance work is non-literary thematic in nature, because in it it expresses personal experiences related to feelings of affection, longing, and loss of a mother figure so that it is of a dramatic type using a single cone structure. The theory used is that put forward by Alma M. Hawkins namely "that creativity involves imaginative thinking through the process of feeling, living, imagining, and finding the truth". In line with this theory, in its cultivation it uses the method approach proposed by F.X Widaryanto, namely "exploration, improvisation, and composition. The creation of this dance work aims to convey or introduce new works with the power of choreography originating from stylized traditional and everyday movements (gestures), and complemented by musical elements through singing, monologues, and artistic settings in the form of photo frames.
