MOTIF BATIK PENYU SUKABUMI “PENGARUH MASYARAKAT DAN LINGKUNGAN PADA VISUAL MOTIF BATIK PENYU SUKABUMI BERDASARKAN SUDUT PANDANG ANTROPOLOGI SENI”

Abstract

Batik is the result of Indonesia's original cultural heritage in the form of a traditional craft art that contains high cultural and aesthetic values and can represent the symbolic and philosophical values of the Indonesian people. Since 2008 Sukabumi began to develop a batik culture, one of which is the turtle batik motif, this paper discusses the author of the Sukabumi turtle batik motif from the point of view of art anthropology, including the history of the creation of turtle batik, types of turtle batik, the influence of society and the surrounding environment. on the visual of the Sukabumi turtle batik motif.

Batik merupakan hasil kebudayaan warisan asli Indonesia berupa sebuah karya seni kerajianan tradisional yang mengandung nilai-nilai kultural dan estetika yang tinggi serta dapat mempresentasikan nilai simbolis dan filosofis masyarakat Indonesia. Sejak tahun 2008, Sukabumi mulai mengembangkan budaya batik, salah satunya motif batik Penyu. Tulisan ini membahas mengenai motif batik Penyu Sukabumi yang ditinjau dari sudut pandang antropologi seni, di antaranya meliputi sejarah penciptaan batik penyu, jenis-jenis batik penyu, pengaruh masyarakat, dan lingkungan sekitar pada visual motif batik penyu Sukabumi.
