Archiving
Panggung Jurnal Seni Budaya is committed to maintaining the sustainability and accessibility of all articles published in the long term. To ensure the security and integrity of digital archives, this journal implements the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) archiving systems in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Through this system, all journal content is distributed and stored in a number of partner libraries to ensure protection from data loss due to hardware failure or other technical disruptions.
The main principles of this archiving policy include:
- Reliability and sustainability of access: All content will remain permanently accessible regardless of the operational status of the publisher's website.
- Authenticity and integrity: Digital archives are maintained to prevent alteration, in accordance with COPE's principles of transparency and publication integrity.
- Openness and interoperability: Metadata is stored in an international standard format that allows for cross-platform academic indexing.
- Data recovery: In the event of loss or damage to the main system, copies from the LOCKSS/CLOCKSS node will be used to restore access to the official version.
With the implementation of this system, Panggung Jurnal Seni Budaya guarantees that all scientific articles, including manuscripts, metadata, and supporting materials, will remain available to the academic community in the long term, supporting the principles of openness in science and the preservation of digital cultural heritage.
